Taxidermy: Indian Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris), by Van Ingen & Van Ingen, Mysore, India, circa 1920-30, large tiger skin rug with head mount, jaw agape, glass eyes, mounted upon typical original canvas backing, vestiges of Van Ingen care label to verso, Van Ingen Mysore stencilling to canvas backing, 300cm nose to tail, 227cm across the fore-limbs, 193cm across the rear limbs,

hand written number to verso of canvas backing material 20 18, claws - FR 5, FL 2, RL 0, RR 2, both ear tip seams open damaged, tail complete but needs repair, small patched repair to right flank, various perimortem scars, wear to nose and around eyes, some areas of loss to filler and paint around gum line, in need of restoration, 14/09/19
