A 19th Century Spanish Percussion Cap Musket, the 87.5cm steel barrel octagonal at the breech, inlaid with insects, birds and foliage in gold, with maker's mark of GC/ME within a capstan shape panel, the hammer formed as a stylised bear, with steel double scroll trigger guard, the walnut full stock with two nickel bands, carved behind the tang with a leafy flower, with panel grooved butt, with wood ramrod.(damage to stock)
