"The New Roscius Country Dance" Fan 1805, with words and music for dances performed at Court, Bath and all public assemblies. Plain wooden monture with a double paper leaf, the verso plain, the recto printed with a central medallion of three cherubs, one singing from a book, two playing musical instruments, below which are two further vignettes each with a child playing music. A further drawing of a tambourine near the gorge repeats the title written in script at the very top centre of the leaf. The remainder of the leaf is printed with the scores and words for dances such as "Lord Grantham's Whim" and "The Humours of Dublin", and is edged in gold. Guard length 17.5cm

Generally good except for some crumpling of the leaf to the left side, where it meets the gorge, some loss of paper at the same point on the verso. Foxed, evident on both sides. Lower guard needs regluing at shoulder.
