A Singing Bird Musical Automaton, late 19th century, the rectangular body of bombe profile, with engine turned and engraved geometric and floral decoration to all sides, the hinged cover enamelled with a racehorse to the top and a group of flowers to the underside, with a finely pierced and engraved grille, with a multi-coloured turning, flapping and tweeting bird, 10.5cm wide

Appears to be un regulated as bird tweets and mover very very fast. No key. Not marked. Some tarnishing and small surface marks. Enamel good with minor nibble only visible under a loupe.
