An Early 18th Century Travelling Pistol by Collumbell, London, converted from a flintlock to percussion, 20 bore, the 23cm three stage round barrel signed near the breech and with London proof marks, with signed rounded lock plate, walnut teardrop carved full stock with ringed brass ramrod pipe, trigger guard, pierced side plate, vacant escutcheon and spurred butt cap, lacks ramrod, 38cm

. Action works, holds at full and half cock. Pitting to steel work. Bruising to stock with cracks to each side of the fore-end tip, below the action and running from the barrel to the top of the side plate. There is a sliver of wood missing from the right side of the fore-end between the lock plate and the barrel.
