George V 10 Shilling note, second Bradbury issue (Jan 1915) good with crease folds and pin holes; together with a selection of British world bank notes, including 2x Page Bank of England £1 notes, British Armed Forces £1 notes, turn of the 20th-century German banknotes and others from Germany, Belize and China along with Russian Railway bond certificates.

The upcoming coin and banknote sale will feature an interesting and diverse selection of coins. From Roman coins to modern proof sets the sale has coins to appeal to a wide range of collectors. Of particular note are two proof sets minted to celebrate the coronations of George V and George VI respectively, a nice selection of Roman Republic and Imperial coinage including a scarce Roman Republic denarius of M. Cato, and four examples of the ‘Kew Gardens’ 50p designed by Christopher Le Brun.
