A Circa 1830's Good Horn Brisé Fan with pointed tips to the twenty-one inner sticks and two guards. Barrel head. The decoration, in bands, is mainly to the top of the fan, with bright green to the inner tip carving, gold beneath, followed by a row of blue flowers, these complementing the blue flowers painted onto the silk ribbon. Guard length 6.75 inches or 17cm

. The upper guard is very slightly warped, as seen when closed. Some metal dots lacking. Light rubbing to the gold on the guards. Generally in good order. The ribbon is sound.
