A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Officer's 16 Bore Pistol by Gillet of Bristol, converted to percussion from a flintlock, the 22.5cm octagonal steel barrel engraved BRISTOL to the top flat, with Board of Ordnance markings, signed lock plate, the walnut full stock with brass ramrod pipes, replaced trigger guard, the bag butt with silver escutcheon, lacks ramrod, 36cm

. Action does not work, loosely holds at full and half cock, but will not fire. The trigger releases the cock but there is no spring. Black patching and rust spotting to barrel and lock plate. The trigger guard is a replacement which is also broken.Fine crack to stock to the right of the muzzle and behind the lock plate. Lacks ramrod.
