Horns/Skulls: South African Cape Buffalo (Syncerus caffer), circa early 20th century, by Rowland Ward Ltd, Taxidermy, 167 Piccadilly, London, a large set of adult male Cape Buffalo horns on upper skull, widest span 104cm, tip to tip 98cm, height 72.5cm, mounted upon a typical trade mark shield, bearing partial trade label to verso, including RW gouge mark to shield verso.
