The Retirement Sale of Victoria Pike, Designer and Maker

After a 54-year career as a designer, maker and fabric dealer, Victoria Pike is offering at auction her residual stock and supplies. With a wealth of colour and pattern, her collection will comprise made-up cushions, bags, aprons, Kimono, shirts, throws, doorstops, Christmas stockings, tablemats and more in vintage and contemporary styles. There will also be a selection of fabric remnants as well as pieces of work-in-progress, with some rough instructions.

The collection will comprise approximately of twenty-five group lots.

Victoria is well known for her textile creations, using colourful and pattern-rich fabrics in unusual combinations. Now living in Leyburn, Victoria previously spent ten years designing and making quilts for Liberty of London in the 1980s and traded in fabric and made-up textiles for twenty years in the legendary Portobello Road in London.

The sale will also include a good selection of affordable traditional art, antiques, silver, jewellery, watches, furniture and more
