A US Colt Model 1860 .44 Calibre Six Shot Percussion Revolver, the 20cm steel barrel stamped ADDRESS COL.SAML.COLT NEW-YORK, U.S.AMERICA, the cylinder engraved with naval battle scene and stamped COLTS PATENT NO.8444, PAT. SEPT.10TH 1850, the left side of the frame stamped COLTS PATENT, with creeping style loading lever and brass trigger guard, all metal parts numbered 68444, with two piece walnut grip
**with attached label inscribed "This gun was issued to the 5th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry. Took part in battles including Pittsburgh, Shiloh Chapel, Siege of Corinthe...."
