A Savage-North's Patent .36 Calibre Six Shot Navy Revolver, the 18cm octagonal steel barrel stamped "SAVAGE R.F.A. Co. MIDDLETOWN.CT / H.S.NORTH PATENTED JUNE 17 1856..... MAY 15 1860" on the top rib, the plain cylinder with recessed chambers, figure of eight cocking ring and trigger, under-lever rammer, with walnut two piece grip

Action works. Brown pitted finish to the metalwork. Chips to the front corners of each grip scale. Generally appears in good working order and action reasonably tight. Numerous small scratches and dings to metalwork. Overall light corrosion. Small losses to three corners on wood grip. Vacant hole on metal frame above butt. Slight damages to several nipples on barrel.
