A 19th Century Percussion Cap Presentation Rifle by J Aston, Hythe, the 82cm browned steel barrel with hinged ladder rear sight and ramped foresight, with signed lock plate, well figured walnut stock with crisply chequered grip and fore-end, steel double scroll trigger guard and ramrod pipes, the shouldered butt with hinged cap box and set with a nickel silver shield engraved "Prize Rifle Won at HYTHE by R.J.Tinley as best Shot of the Right Wing.
