Ducatus Leodiensis: or, the Topography of the Ancient and Populous Town and Parish of Leedes"¦second edition, two parts in one, with pp. 159 Musaeum Thoresbyanum [a catalogue] and Index. Both volumes with many uncoloured portraits, plates, illustrations and pedigrees, complete as called for. Binding with minor rubbing and staining; original e.p.s lacking but Half Titles and Directions to the Binder (at rear) preserved. Some minor offsetting and light marginal foxing, generally a good copy of this rigorous history of the area around Leeds, including lower Wharfedale and Airedale. Ducatus with 1858 folding Plan of Leeds loosely inserted (2).
