A Group of Six Taxidermy Sea Birds, by H Murray & Sons, Naturalists, Bank Buildings, Carnforth, circa 1910, including Razorbill, Guillemot and Puffin, arranged on a faux sea shore with rocks bedecked with grasses, seaweed and sea debris, against a rocky coast painted background, in a three-glass ebonised case with original taxidermist's label verso, 91cm wide, 70.5cm high, 30.5cm deep

In very good overall condition for its period with typical slight fading and a slight 'stickiness' in appearance of some feathers and some dust on the feathers. Some splitting and staining to the background paint and 'ceiling' panel paint. Some scuffing of wood and slight chipping. Original label good with slight tear top right. Sold a/f. 250313
