Relined ( as per inscription verso in 1916). Cleaned and re-varnished. Surface slightly flattened and the paint is in the places as a result of this process, especially within the lower right hand corner and below the mountains within the water on the right. Some surface dirt and discoloured varnish now in evidence. Fairly widely spaced old cracquelure throughout surface which has been stabilized by conservation but not in filled and therefore apparent. Relatively superficial surface scratch to the right and below the figure fishing on the bridge and is approx 1cm in length with a slight hook to the end. Two further superficial scuff/ scratches tpwards upper left hand corner approx 4cms in length and another approx 0.5cm above the foliage in the upper right hand corner. Otherwise reasonable and stable condition.
