A Victorian Helmet Plate to Grantham Borough Police, of die stamped blackened brass as a Queen's crown over a Maltese Cross centred by an applied white metal shield, the reverse with two fixing lugs

Footnote:- Grantham Borough Police was formed in 1836

The reverse with a repair to the crown and lacks one fixing lug.
