Provenance: The Holy Family, inscribed in French to an old label affixed verso: “This painting was part of Cardinal Fesch’s gallery. In April 1843, Albert de Resseguier bought it in Rome and presented to his wife who bequeathed it in 1848 to the Count de Falloux, who gave it to the Marquis and Marquise de Pérignon. Reassembled and repaired in Paris in March 1882 by Monsieur Maillot Ch. Rue du Vieux Colombier, no. 5 or 6?”
