A Silver-Mounted Mennecy Porcelain Snuff Box, circa 1750, naturalistically modelled and painted as a dog and puppy recumbent on a cushion, the cover painted with a flowerspray

No cracks or restoration. Mounts firmly fixed and the cover closing well. Some general surface wear and slight pitting. The cover with heavy wear patches. Inside cover with a deep V-shaped scratch next to the mount.
