A Tom Morran La Contessa Split Cane Fly Rod
in two sections 7'-3" #5 with additional top section, bag and Moran leather covered aluminium tube. Serial Number 874/9 above the handle. The rod is medium-dark flamed cane with a swelled butt and fitted with a cigar-shaped smooth cork handle, nickel silver reel fittings and butt cap (stamped T Moran, Maker), nickel silver ferrules, a tiger-maple reel seat, tungsten carbide stripper ring and snake rings throughout. We understand from the vendor that the rod has never been used.
