In an overall good state of preservation. Light surface dirt. Very subtle push mark to canvas on the left hand side background approx centre and also in line with her right hand side shoulder within the background with associated minor abrasion. There is tape around all four sides of the canvas which is lifting and coming away. Some relatively minor rubbing and losses along the top edge in particular and to a lesser degree on the other sides. There is a cluster of tiny sized nicks / missing paint to the canvas around her left hand, shoulder/ hair and hand area where the pale ground is showing through. Good thick impasto to surface. There is nothing to discern under a uv lamp. For any further information, please contact the department.
