One or two areas of missing paint in the background colour to the left hand side of the lady's head, with a scratch running from left to right nearby. One or two other areas of missing paint down the right hand side edge of the work, and two or three marks between the two figures in the background colour. Some fine bitumen in one or two areas with fine crackelure and somewhat wider cracks within the paintwork across the surface. Dirt and discoloured varnish across the entire surface. 060313
