Taxidermy: European Badger Mask (Meles meles), dated 1964, by Thomas Salkeld, Taxidermist & Naturalist, Over Kellet, Carnforth, an adult Badger mask with mouth agape in defensive pose, with head turning to the right, mounted upon a shaped oak shield, 22cm from the wall, with hand painted legend to shield "Wm Brightmores, Terriers, Oct 1964", bearing taxidermist's full paper trade label to verso.
