In good original unlined condition there is good thick impasto in paces and very delicately applied brushwork in other areas. There is surface dirt and discoloured varnish to the work with a certain amount of original crackelure and paint shrinkage, but this is minimal. Contained within its original elaborately decorated gilt plaster and wooden frame with inner gilt slip, the top corners of the slip are rounded (160312)
