A Royal Worcester Porcelain Plate, by Harry Ayrton, 2nd half 20th century, painted with a still life of fruit on a mossy bank within a shaped gadrooned border highlighted in gilt, signed, printed mark in black

No chips, cracks or restoration. The gilding in good order. One minute scratche to the enamel between the ivey and raspberry leaves (just after 12 o'clock)

The Summer Fine Sale offers nearly 450 lots of ceramics, Asian art, clocks, rugs, works of art and furniture, including a collection of 19th century Terracotta Campagna Urns from Raby Castle, County Durham, a Lock of Florence Nightingale's Hair, and a French Alabaster Figure Group of the Holy Family, probably made in South West France in the late 14th century. A Private Collection of English Pottery will be offered in twenty-three lots, including numerous Prattware and Creamware figures, and the sale will also include pieces of fine 19th century furniture and good early oak and walnut furniture.
