Taxidermy: A Cased Museum Style Tawny Owl (Strix aluco), modern, a full mount adult in defensive pose with wings outspread, perched atop a cut tree stump, set against a cream painted interior, enclosed within a typical museum-style single-glass table display case 61cm by 38cm by 51.5cm, mounted very much in the manner of North East Taxidermist's such as Robert Duncan and Joseph Cullingford, each adopted this simple, clean, yet very effective process of letting the natural beauty of the specimen show, and not be overpowered by a cluttered interior
