. Significantly time stained throughout sheet . Consistent large and smaller sized foxing spots throughout. Holes/losses to sheet along upper edge approx. 3 cm from upper left hand corner. Three evident areas of damage the largest being 0.5cm by 0.5cm. Some general surface scratches and abrasions. There is a vertical surface scratch for example just right of the two cherubs towards the upper edge approx. 2-3cm in length. Relatively subtle horizontal crease just above the head of the flag bearing figure on the left hand side and running the majority of the width of the sheet. Foreign objects/debris trapped under glass within the drapery of the Magdalene lower left hand side. Possibly some light cockling but not examined out of the frame. Broadly in a relatively poor state of preservation. With numerous condition issues. Probably contained within a period frame.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
