♦Charles I, 2 x Shillings comprising: (1) Tower Mint under the King (1625-1626), mm Cross Calvary, first bust, type 2, in coronation robes with ornate ruff, high double-arched crown with outer arch jewelled, rev. quartered square-topped shield over cross fourchée, S.2782, black corrosion deposits in parts of legends o/wise Fine to GFine & (2) Tower Mint under the King (1636-1638), mm tun, fifth ‘Aberystwyth’ bust, double-arched crown, small XII, rev. quartered square-topped shield over cross Moline, S.2794, struck slightly off-centre & slightly uneven edge in parts o/wise well struck GFine to VF.
