Light surface dirt trapped under glass. Fairly extensive small-sized foxing spots throughout sheet although most notably in the sky and to the central figures face. Maintains good colour depth. Sporadic areas of surface bloom/mildew in areas, particularly noticeable within the green of the central figures dress. It would seem likely that this picture was stored within relatively damp conditions. There is a patch of white to the left of the pile of leaves likley by design (see images). Tiny white mark to right of bottom edge, possible tear? approx 0.5cm. Not examined out of the frame. For further information please contact the department.
