In an overall good and original state of preservation. Board is slightly adrift of the frame along the right hand side and left hand side of upper edge. One tiny hole to paint along top edge approx 7 cms from upper left hand corner. Further slight variiations to board surface along upper edge right hand side. Surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Areas of fine stable cracquelure. There is an ochre coloured slightly flattened area of paint/ impasto in the upper part of the clouds next to the tree on the far left which may be the result of something sitting on the surface prior to the paint fully drying ?
