A Cased Pair of Red Squirrels (Sciurus vulgaris), attributed to H Murray of Carnforth, full mount squirrel sat within the bowl of a broken tree branch eating an acorn with head turned slightly to the right, amongst a naturalistic setting of grasses, lichen and mosses, another similar climbing a tree branch with head turned slightly to the left, amongst a naturalistic setting of tall grasses, ferns and faux rockwork, both set against a watercolour painted back board, each enclosed within picture frame styled five-glass wall hanging cases with a gilt ivy border, 26cm by 9.5cm by 34cm excluding the frames (2)
