. The necklace is in good condition. The pearls are of slightly irregular roundish form. They are a golden cream hue. The surface of the pearls is pitted in places, with grooves in parts. It is strung on unknotted thread. It fastens with two interlocking circular clasps. The clasps bear no hallmark nor stamp, but in our opinion they would test as blackened silver. Gross weight 164.0 grams. CR made 03.06.19.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
