♦Charles I, Shilling, Tower Mint under the King, mm triangle (1639-40), sixth large Briot’s bust with stellate lace collar, double-arched crown, rev. quartered square-topped shield over cross Moline, S.2799, slightly irregular edge in parts & small v-shaped edge chip at 6 o’clock but very well struck, fully detailed bust & good shield.
