Covered in a layer of dirt. Slight stretcher shadow with associated very fine craquelure. Canvas slightly buckling bottom right hand corner with fine craquelure to the peach coloured paint, possible losses to the outer edge of the peach coloured paint in this area. Canvas loose in frame which has caused rubbing to outer edges, especially to areas of the blue paint left hand side edge, the top of the left tree and the top right corner within the tree. Sporadic areas of fine craquelure within the blue paint. Slip chipped to bottom right hand corner and chips and losses to frame.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
