. On a buff or tinted paper with a naturally occurring fleck. Possibly with some overall time staining in addition which is more evident/pronounced around some of the more concentrated areas of white gouache. i.e centrally placed hound's front legs, belly, back right hind leg. Upper right hand corner hound once can discern more pronounced oxidisation/time staining in the exposed areas of paper next to the white pigment which is essentially true of most of the hounds. Overall colour depth remains good however the time staining is reducing some of the impact and some of the blues and greens look a little washed out. A small amount of sporadic medium sized foxing spots across the sheet which are scarce. Some subtle cockling in evidence. Not examined out of the frame. In an overall fair to good state of preservation.
