"Ginger Pop"
Signed, inscribed and indistinctly dated, oil on board, 37cm by 50cm

In broadly reasonable to good state of preservation. The board is slightly warped in a convex fashion. Surface dirt possibly unvarnished? Small cluster of easily removable tiny-sized white spots just below and around the inscription upper left with furthermore sporadic white splash elsewhere. The horizontal grain of the wood is apparent across the body of the horse and has been used with artistic effect being less worked within the lower 50%. The grain of the wood is also more pronounced by nature towards the upper left-hand corner and to a lesser extent along the right-hand side edge. There is also a slightly more pronounced mild horizontal split to panel approx 3cms in length and intersecting the FM of the signature. Plain bevelled original frame, minor knock to the lower left-hand corner. Image can be supplied if required. Some bloom also to the surface.
