In fully restored condition. Relined cleaned and re-varnished. Sporadic and delicate retouches through the girl's hair of the left-hand side. Further fairly delicate but more consistent retouching especially the lower part of the blue dress worn by girl on the far left. Further fairly sporadic and fine retouching across the composition of the figure group which is somewhat more concentrated within the standing figure at the window and the mother holding the small child aloft. Some general retouching to old cracquelure and within the composition elsewhere. Surface is somewhat flattened as a result of the restoration process and paint is thin in places, light surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Tiny nick to surface approx centre of the rug within lower right-hand corner. Areas of mild stable cracquelure. Otherwise in a stable and presentable state of preservation.
