A Large Victorian Taxidermy Display Case of Rare Asian Pheasants, circa 1877, by Henry Shaw, a pair of full mount Himalayan Monal Pheasants (Lophophorus impejanus), a pair of full mount Koklass Pheasants (Pucrasia macrolopha), and a pair of full mount Cheer Pheasants (Catreus wallichii), all mounted within a faux painted rock ledge setting amongst ferns, ivy and grasses, against a watercolour painted back board, enclosed within an ebonised single-glass period display case, 106cm by 43cm by 96cm, signed in pencil to interior lower left corner H.Shaw 77
