In an overall good and stable state of preservation. Cleaned and revarnished. Two dashes of retouching to lower right hand corner and slightly above. The inside of his overcoat probably strengthened. Small amount of fine sporadic retouching to top edge to replace flaked or abraded paint with further minor retouches within the background behind the gentleman.
