Antlers/Horns: Indian Sambar (Cervus unicolor unicolor), circa early 20th century, Dunbar, India, taken by Captain J. Brandar, large adult male antlers on cut upper frontlet, 6 points (3+3), widest spread 33'', height 32'', bearing identification plaque. Annie recalls - ''We bought this set of antlers in a Boscombe second hand shop when Ray and i were first together and living in Sway in the New Forest. My mother and father came to stay, Grandad Jock and Granny, no chair was in the room to hang their clothes on, Grandad Jock decided the Sambar was a suitable substitute''.
