Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Stone Curlew & Red-legged Partridge, by J Sayer, Animal & Bird Preserver, St Giles Norwich, a full mount adult Stone Curlew and Red-legged Partridge stood upon sanded and painted groundwork, amidst a natural setting of short and long grasses, set against a green wash painted interior, enclosed within a period ebonised single-glass display case, 62.5cm by 19.5cm by 38.5cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior lower right .

Both birds in good condition, no signs of any moth or insect damage, case structure sound, glass panel good no cracks, interior paper slightly ruffled in areas, slight staining to trade label, 30/08/22
