In original condition. Pronounced widely spaced and partially unstable cracquelure across the surface with losses and relatively minor tears to the canvas at approx 6 points. ( 2 to lower right hand side, approx 1cm - 2cms in length and 4 at or around the bay horse and rider at 1-2.5 cms in length). Covered in a thick layer of dirt and discoloured varnish. Not examined with a UV light.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
