Provenance: from the library of Royston and Ann Millmore. Royston Millmore worked in the wool industry in Bradford and was editor of trade journal The Wool Record. He was the author of Heatwave in Berlin (Canongate, 1978), based on his experiences in 1930s Germany, and Brief Life of the Brontes (privately published, 1947). He and his wife Ann were both stalwarts of the Swanwick Writers' Summer School.
