In fully restored condition. Re lined, cleaned and re varnished. The cherubs's hand across the other in the upper left hand corner is re painted. Patch of retouching and over painting in the lower section of the Madonna's blue veil approximately 2cm - 3cm in diameter and a smaller area beneath this. Re touching to background between the kneeling figures and the Virgin's outstretched hand. The entire space between the knee of the kneeling saint behind the cherub holding the flowers aloft is entirely re painted including the top part of the far left hand side cherub's head and 85% of the crouching cherub beneath these is re painted. A further t shaped repair with associated re touching to the front between the hands of the saint holding the rosary and the Madonna's skirts. Other more sporadic and lesser points and areas of retouching and strengthening throughout surface. Original canvas is beginning to lift away from other re lines along the top edge. Surface is generally flat in appearance. Rubbing/thinning to paint of the black cloak worn by the Sister kneeling in the lower right hand corner and bearing the stigmata. Superficial surface scuff at calf height of the Madonna. Some surface dirt and discoloured varnish etc.
