Auction: Antiques & Interiors, to include Designer Fashion and Affordable Modern & Contemporary Art, 18th Jul, 2025

To include a good mix of affordable traditional art and antiques, jewellery, silver, watches and more. 

The sale will also include a section of Affordable Modern & Contemporary Art. Highlights include works from the estate of Tom Dearden. Born in Ulverston, Dearden's drawing skills were recognised from a young age. His Tutors encouraged him to attend Lancaster and Morecombe College of Art. Following this he attended the Slade School of Art in London and became a full time artist in 1970. He exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and held a solo exhibition at Abbot Hall, Kendal in 1975. The same year he received a gold medal at the Paris Salon, the second ever British artist to receive such an accolade. Other highlights in the Affordable Modern & Contemporary Art section include works by Philip Wakeham, Jean Kevorkian, Claude Harrison, Mackenzie Thorpe and Frank Vernon Martin.
