Relined. Some surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Narrow retouching along left hand side edge mostly contained above the vegetation ie within the sky area. Narrow retouching along the entirety of lower edge. Delicate infilling within the grass, mostly below and right of the far right hand side spindly tree. Sporadic retouching to right hand side edge. Retouching to upper right hand corner and sporadically to mostly upper right hand side edge. Scattered very smalled-sized delicate retouches elsewhere, mostly to sky, presumably to replace old flaked paint. The whispy white cloud immediately above the spindly right hand side tree shows signs of general strengthening, as do outer parts of the more prominant voluminous cloud. Two distinct areas of retouching and potential repair to an old damage approximately centre sky within clouds (see image) the largest being approximately 4-5cm in overall length. Possible initials to lower left hand corner? Minor rubbing/abrasions to some edges from movement in frame. For more information please contact the department.
