The original sleeve valve engine was replaced at some stage after the 1960's by a Daimler EL24 OHV engine from 1934/35 and married to the original 3 speed manual gear box. This engine was totally rebuilt approximately four years ago costing over £10,000.
This car has been used for weddings in the Scottish Borders since 2008, although since the engine rebuild, it has only been used sparingly and has been stored indoors when not in use. A real head turner at weddings and car shows alike. It is in good condition for its age and comes with V5C paperwork and some photographs relating to work done.
