A Pair of Sèvres Biscuit Porcelain Figures of Les Trois Graces Portant L'Amour and Bacchus Portè Par Les Bacchantes, circa 1780, after the models by Etienne-Maurice Falconet, each modelled as the child being carried by three classical mains, on shaped circular bases, one base with incised monogram for Francois Joseph Le Riche

Amour with one wing missing, the other re attached, an old repair to raised left arm. One of the Graces (left) with a repair to hand and losses. Kneeling grace with left arm re attached. Some losses to the applied work. Base warped slightly in firing.

Bacchus group with a firing crack under the base and to the side of the kneeling figure. Losses to the applied work, notably the srig from the raised arm of the central figure. Base slightly warped during firing.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
