A Second World War Group of Three Medals, comprising 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star and War Medal in cardboard box of issue, awarded to 14584683 Sergeant William Leslie Bradwell, a sniper with the Royal Scots Fusiliers, with part of his Service and Pay Book, Identity Cards, Record of Service, photograph and ephemera, also his glengarry bonnet, formation patch, rank chevrons, shoulder titles, two blazer badges, a prismatic compass in webbing pouch, a machine gun magazine belt, a pierced metal target sight and a photocopy of his hand written account of the Attack at Fontenay-le-Pesnel ''Operation Martlet'' by the 49th British Infantry Division, June 1944, during which he was wounded. Footnote:- The 11th Battalion of the Royal Scots Fusiliers led the attack into the village from Le Parc-de-Boislande and had 201 casualties out of 400 men.
