Sold by Order of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to Benefit the Fusiliers Aid Society (13 January Jewellery, Watches and Silver sale, lots 2273-2307 and Antiques and Interiors sale, 5 January 2024 lots 1-16).
The inscription reads 'Presented to the Officers 1st Bn Lancashire Fusiliers by Major B. Deane-Freeman on Promotion 6th April 1898’.
