A Victorian Silver Teapot, by John Bodman Carrington, London, 1898, compressed circular and on collet foot, one side engraved with the badge of the Lancashire Fusiliers and the other with an inscription, the handle with composition insulated lower junction and wood insulated upper junction, with hinged cover, 23cm wide over handle, gross weight 17oz 13dwt, 550gr

Sold by Order of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to Benefit the Fusiliers Aid Society (13 January Jewellery, Watches and Silver sale, lots 2273-2307 and Antiques and Interiors sale, 5 January 2024 lots 1-16).

The inscription reads 'Presented to the Officers 1st Bn Lancashire Fusiliers by Major B. Deane-Freeman on Promotion 6th April 1898’.
